NEWS: A word from our newly appointed Deputy Headteacher – Jess Derrer
I have felt incredibly welcomed by pupils and staff since joining Broadmeadow at the start of term. Although I have only met a few parents and carers so far, those encounters have been equally warm and encouraging.
These first few weeks have confirmed that I made the right decision in joining the school, and they have renewed my enthusiasm for working together to ensure the very best for our pupils and your children.
I am excited for the journey ahead, and I look forward to all that is to come. I can’t wait to meet more of our Broadmeadow families and friends in the weeks and months ahead.
Wolves HAF February programme is now open for bookings (from 27th January). Offering hundreds of activities, events and food for the city’s children and young people and their families during the half term break. Running from Fri16th – 20th Feb, 4 hours of
activities or more are fully funded and will include a meal. The holiday activities are free for all children and young people of school age receiving benefit related school meals, and with SEND or an EHCP (are working with a Social or Family worker). The activities include arts, crafts, fun days out, dance and drama workshops, photography and much more. Booking places is easy at yowolves.co.uk
Wellbeing at Broadmeadow
In preparation for children’s mental health week our ‘tree of kindness’ is growing! Children are being ‘caught’ demonstrating acts of kindness, which are being celebrated and added to our display each day.
