News

Broadmeadow have been working on a project with HY5; we have been looking at accessibility of provision for young people in Wolverhampton. HY5 is an organisation who seek children’s views and share these with the local authority. Students and school council have identified provision that could be more accessible for SEND; this information has been compiled in a report and shared with HY5. HY5 were very impressed with Broadmeadow’s findings, these will be shared in their annual report. We have also been invited to share our insights at the HY5 celebration evening. We are very proud of our work, and really hope this leads to more inclusive provision for SEND children in Wolverhampton!

As you are aware our Headteacher Lisa has recently left the school to pursue other interests. We are so thankful for Lisa’s commitment to Broadmeadow over many years of service. We are having a collection in school and as many of you know her, we would like to invite you to contribute should you wish to do so. If so, we ask that you send any donations in an envelope marked for the attention of Jackie. Thank you.
