About Broadmeadow

Broadmeadow is a Special School situated in Wolverhampton close to the city centre. We are a 75-place school for children aged from 3 to 11 years who have been identified through statutory assessment as being in need of special educational provision.

We are committed to providing high-quality teaching and learning within a happy and stimulating environment.

We are continually developing and improving and have many excellent facilities, including a safe playground, sensory room, a huge trampoline for Rebound Therapy, interactive whiteboards in each classroom, minibuses and two sensory gyms, a recently installed Cubbie (a smart sensory pod) and a Forest School area.

The school has been inspected seven times by Ofsted. At our latest inspection in June 2024,  the report states that: “Broadmeadow Special School is warm and welcoming to everyone. Pupils are well cared for and staff go the extra mile to make pupils feel safe and happy. This embodies the school’s mission that ‘together we enable and motivate’.”

On December 1st 2016 we gained Academy status, joining Central Learning Partnership Trust.
