Looking to the Future
Broadmeadow is entering an exciting new chapter in its development. The school is currently planning for a move to a brand-new purpose-built school on the in Pendeford, scheduled to open in September 2028.
The new building represents a significant investment in the future of special education in Wolverhampton and will provide enhanced facilities designed specifically to meet the needs of our pupils both now and in the years ahead. The development aims to create a modern, accessible and inspiring learning environment that supports innovation in teaching, wellbeing and therapeutic provision.
The new school will offer:
- Purpose-built classrooms designed for specialist learning.
- Enhanced sensory and therapeutic spaces.
- Improved outdoor learning and play environments.
- Greater capacity to meet increasing demand for specialist school places.
- Modern facilities that promote independence, communication and inclusion.
- Flexible learning spaces that support a broad and engaging curriculum.
While our location will change, our values, ethos and commitment to our children and families will remain the same. Broadmeadow will continue to be a place where every pupil is valued, supported and encouraged to succeed.
The move to Pendeford marks an exciting opportunity to build on our strengths and create an outstanding learning environment for future generations of Broadmeadow pupils.
