Autism
Autism is a developmental disorder; it impacts on development of communication, social interaction and cognitive functioning. That said, autism can present itself in many different ways, and, like all children, is very individual. Many children at Broadmeadow have a diagnosis of autism, with varying degrees of support needs. You will find a wealth of information through the National Autistic Society.
